DUE TO COVID-19 changing the landscape of our 2020 lacrosse season, as well as our world, HEADstrong Philly Girls has intentionally decided to keep our teams together and forego OPEN TRYOUTS. Our players and their families have been through enough and do not need to have the weight of making a team at this time.
WITH THAT BEING SAID, there are open roster spots on ALL HEADSTRONG PHILLY GIRLS' teams from 2021 to 2027 at this time. If you are interested in being considered for one of the teams please use the above link.
HEADstrong Girls Lacrosse Club provides a personal and individualized coaching environment consisting of one team in the 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027 & 2028/2029 graduating classes from the Philadelphia Metro area.
We will also be offering a developmental program to those players in 1st through 4th grade (2029).
We are offering a Fall & Winter Season to returning and new 2021 players to provide additional recruiting opportunities.
The program will operate in a year-round format integrating:
We will also be offering to those players in 2025-2026 the opportunity to play in the Spring League with NGLL (this is an add-on opportunity).
We consciously set our year-long schedule to encourage all players to participate in multiple sports throughout the year as well as school and township lacrosse programs in the spring. Our off season training sessions and team building events are held once a week. During our summer club season we specifically choose to participate in local tournaments for our middle school teams, minimizing extensive travel and additional expense for players and families. This helps keep lacrosse and life in perspective. However, our High School aged team (includes 8-12 grades) participate in the the largest recruiting tournaments that include, Summer Genesis, Project 120 Showcase, Live Love Lax and the Grind.
